Solid A

I loved those moments between him and Kopi leaving the D zone with those insane touch passes to get out, and then the ones at speed through the neutral zone, I would love to see a lot more of that.

It would very difficult to warrant giving him something other than an A.

Is there anything higher than an A+? I guess it's A+ then. I knew he would help our team win, but I don't think anyone had him just going off like he did. He was amazing for the Kings. Glad he decided to stay, it's going to be sweet watching a full season of Kopitar and Gabs play next year.

Solid A performance from Gabo! For what he does with his game and for what he does for Kopi's (going forward, anything near a goal every other is A-mazing), I'm giddy thinking of all the possibilities for the next few years! The PP shouls be a lot better, 5v5 will be a lot better... bye-bye bottom third in the league in team scoring. We should find the Kings in the middle of the pack while maintaining something comparable to last seasons defensive GAA. good time to be a Kings fan.

Who was the idiot that gave him a D plus, maybe a Rangers or Jackets fan?

Jason - any info on King's arbitration hearing? I thought it was scheduled to happen soon, if not already.

Thanks.

They all deserve As they won the cup.

Except for the rotation guys like Clifford and Nolan

Completely disagree. Look at Brown's season. No way you could say it was A worthy. Likewise with Stoll. Saying they deserve an A simply because they won the cup is a cop out to me. Just because they won doesn't mean they had good seasons. I'm sure they themselves would tell you they had bad seasons.

Years before Gabbo was traded to LA I would buy the new NHL video game and immediately trade for Gaborik and him and Kopi would rack up the points.

It's a dream come true to have him here in LA

If you look at the playoffs only, everyone stepped up in some capacity. The regular season seems to be just a period time to get through and establish their playoff position. Sometimes I wonder if teams expend a lot of energy to win the division and have nothing left for the playoffs.

Gabs was awesome for the cup run but watch him sit out and milk an injury.

Which one of his goals in the playoffs were 'Overrated'? Probably that overtime winner in game one of the Ducks series. Or the goal he scored just 34 seconds into the start of the game two. That guy was really overrated in those games, huh? That Gabs is such a slacker And don't even get me started on Carter.

Gabby is an "every other year" player. He will be healthy and score 40 1 year and then get hit with injuries and barely score 20 the next and then go right back to 40 the year after that. Great player when he's on his game. Torts brought out the best in him...before coming to NY he didn't practice if he was sore or after hard games and didnt really get to the dirty areas but he left NY a complete, hard-working player.

Now that is absolutely hilarious. Being that he is a big reason the Kings had the success they had. I mean, 7+ seconds to go and the overrated, watered down Gaborik scores the game tying goal, then goes on to score the OT winner. Yeah, definitely a b- player.
